Privacy Policy for SubAxe

Welcome to SubAxe! This Privacy Policy explains how SubAxe ("the App"), developed by Yasir Gasim, handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Collect

SubAxe is designed with your privacy in mind. We collect very limited personal information directly from you, and only what is necessary for the App's core functionality.

• Subscription Data: This includes the details you manually enter into the App about your subscriptions and bills (e.g., service name, cost, billing cycle, renewal date). This data is stored locally on your device.
• Purchase Information: When you make an in-app purchase (like subscribing to SubAxe Pro) through Apple's App Store, Apple provides us with a transaction receipt. This receipt does not contain your personal financial information but confirms your purchase status, which we use to unlock Pro features.
• Notification Preferences: If you grant permission, we store your preference to receive renewal reminders. We do not store the content of these notifications.

We do NOT collect any analytics data, usage statistics, or personally identifiable information for marketing purposes. We do NOT use any third-party trackers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

• To store and display your subscription and bill information within the App.
• To calculate and present your total spending on subscriptions.
• To send you renewal reminders, if you have enabled notifications.
• To verify your in-app purchases and provide access to SubAxe Pro features.
• To enable optional iCloud synchronization of your subscription data, if you choose to use it.

We do NOT sell your data to anyone. We do NOT use your data for advertising or profiling.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: All your subscription data is stored locally on your device using SwiftData. This means your data resides on your iPhone or iPad and is not automatically sent to our servers.
• iCloud Sync (Optional): You have the option to sync your subscription data across your Apple devices using iCloud. If you enable this feature, your data will be stored securely on Apple's iCloud servers, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We do not have direct access to your iCloud data.
• Security Measures: We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data stored within the App on your device. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

4. Third-Party Services

SubAxe integrates with essential Apple services to provide its functionality:

• Apple StoreKit: We use StoreKit to manage in-app purchases (e.g., the 7-day free trial, monthly/yearly Pro subscriptions). When you make a purchase, the transaction is handled directly by Apple, and your payment information is never shared with us. We only receive a confirmation of your purchase status from Apple.
• Apple iCloud: If you choose to enable iCloud synchronization, your subscription data will be stored and managed by Apple's iCloud service. Apple's Privacy Policy governs the data stored on iCloud.
• Apple Push Notification Service (APNS): If you enable renewal reminders, we use APNS to deliver these notifications to your device. We do not store or process the content of these notifications on our servers.

SubAxe does NOT use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

5. Your Rights

Since your data is primarily stored on your device, you have direct control over it:

• Access and Correction: You can access, review, and modify all your subscription data directly within the SubAxe app at any time.
• Deletion: You can delete any or all of your subscription data from the App. Deleting the App from your device will also remove all locally stored data. If you have iCloud sync enabled, you may also need to manage or delete data from your iCloud account settings.
• Opt-Out of Notifications: You can disable renewal reminders at any time through the App's settings or your device's system settings.

6. Children's Privacy

SubAxe is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received personal information from a child under 13, we will delete such information from our records.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after any changes signifies your acceptance of the updated policy.
